How long of burn time do The Light You Give Candle Company's candles burn for roughly?

Accepted Answer

Burn times will vary per candle size and with candle maintenance (please see candle care). With proper candle maintenance you usually can get longer burn times out of your candles.

Small Candles 100g (4 oz jars) approx. burn time 20 - 28 hours
Large Candles 200g (8 oz jars) approx. burn time 40-56 hours

What are The Light You Give Candle Company's recommended candle care instructions?

Candle Care Instructions
Trim the wick to ¼”  before burning 
Leave the candle lit for at least 2 hours first time burning. 
Make sure to burn the candle until the top layer of melted wax reaches edge to edge.
Keep candles on a flat, fire resistant surface.
Keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
Keep candles away from drafts.
Keep candles away from flammable materials.
Use a candle snuffer to put out the flame.
Do not burn candles for longer than 4 hours at a time. 
Store new and cooled candles with the lid on away from direct light.

Keeping up with your candles care helps ensure for the safest candle usage and longer burn times out of your candles.

These terms and conditions constitute the return and refund policy of The Light You Give Candle Company. Thank you for your purchase. If you are not happy or sure about your purchase, we are here to make it right.
Terms and Conditions for return and refund:
The Light You Give Candle Company at this time does not offer returns. 
The Light You Give Candle Company at this time does not offer returns or refunds for bulk candle orders.
The Light You Give Candle Company at this time does not offer refunds or returns for local delivery orders/products or pick up orders and products. 
The customer has 24 hours to check and contact The Light You Give Candle Company after delivery of order for any damage or missing items.  
If a customer receives a damaged “candle” or “candle accessory” upon delivery they are to contact The Light You Give Candle Company within 24 hours of receiving. 
When contacting The Light You Give Candle Company please provide your order number, date of package received and pictures of the damaged product with the packaging. The Light You Give Candle Company will contact you and provide a partial to full refund within 14 business days if deemed product was damaged due to delivery. 
If a customer receives an order and is missing item(s) or has received the wrong item(s) they are to contact The Light You Give Candle Company within 24 hours of delivery. 
When contacting The Light You Give Candle Company about missing item(s) please provide an order number, date of package received and a picture of your order. The Light You Give Candle Company will contact customers and rectify the situation with either a full refund of the missing product(s) or ship out the missing items with a partial refund for said item within 14 business days. 
If a customer received the wrong item(s) from their order they are to contact The Light You Give Candle Company within 24 hours of delivery with the order number, date of order received and picture of the order received. The Light You Give Candle Company will contact you and ship out the correct items as well as allow customers to keep the incorrect items received, no refunds will be offered. 
After 24 hours of the delivery or not fulfilling any of the conditions provided in clause 3 and/or 4 The Light You Give Candle Company shall not accept any reports of damaged or missing items and no money will be refunded or new products shipped out.

Does The Light You Give Candle Company make requested bulk candle orders for special events?

YES! We at The Light You Give Candle Company are very happy to make and provide candles for your or your loved one's special event for a fee. Fees will very depending the time frame of which the candles are needed, the amount of candles requested and other materials for packaging necessary to make your event favour what you or your loved one is dreaming of.

All the special event candles we offer at this time come in our 4oz amber glass jars (100g candle) with our branded labels and a featured label for your or your loved one's event.

The ideal time frame for an order of 100-150 candles is 3 months.

Scent options we can discuss based on the theme of said event and availability and time frame of which the candles are needed.

All candle orders will have to be paid in full at time of order.

What if a specific candle scent is out of stock in any or all sizes?

If any of our candles are out of stock you will need to click the "notify me when available" button on the said candles product page and you will be notified when the candle(s) are back in stock.

Why does The Light You Give Candle Company use soy wax?

We believe at The Light You Give Candle Company that being aware of what your body is taking in from the environment around it is just as important as the quality of things (food, water etc) you are putting directly into it. 
This is why our candles and wax melts are made with 100% soy wax, and paraben and phthalate free. 
Paraffin wax was the main material candles were made of for many years and still is a majority of candles out there. The reason many people are beginning to use soy wax for a cleaner candle alternative is because paraffin is made from petroleum. Yup, think oil and gas. Whereas soy wax is made from hydrogenated soybean oil making it a significantly cleaner product to burn in your home. Soy wax also has a longer burn time than paraffin candles.

We believe at The Light You Give Candle Company that being aware of what your body is taking in from the environment around it is just as important as the quality of things (food, water etc) you are putting directly into it. 
This is why our candles and wax melts are made with 100% soy wax, and paraben and phthalate free. 
Parabens are a group of compounds used as preservatives used in many things like cosmetics, foods and pharmaceuticals. Parabens are hormone disruptors - they act like estrogen in the body which can affect both male and female reproduction along with fertility and birth outcomes.  Phthalates are a group of compounds made and used to make plastics more durable. These can also be found in personal care products. With over exposure to phthalates they can negatively impact your endocrine system.

What The Light You Give Candle Company offers for Delivery and Pick Up of your order

Accepted Answer

We are currently not offering shipping through our site. This is a choice we have made for the time being as the price to ship just 1 of our small candles in a small box with a minimal amount of packaging, would cost roughly $12-14 - the larger the package the more it costs. 
What we are offering though in place of, is free local pick up in Woodstock, Ontario. Or, personal delivery by us to you for a small fee. The areas we offer delivery for are Woodstock, Brantford area, KW and Cambridge, Stratford and small area of London. The checkout is set with the designated distances of area which we cover. If when checking out you are not within the distances set please contact as and we can do our best to figure out how to get you your order. As well, if you'd like to place an order and need or prefer to have it shipped please contact us at thelightyougivecandleco@gmail.com; as we would be happy to get that order to you at your cost for shipping based on the size of your order and the mailing service billing.
